TGIF!

What a looooooooooooooooong week this has been!

I'm exhausted and felt like a Zombie all day today. I have sooo much work and work and grad school I'm ready to collapse. The only thing keeping me sane these days is reading. I try to read a little every night just clear my mind. Books have always been my best friends and my way of escapism.

I working my way through a series of YA Dystopian novels and read The Hunger Games trilogy, Matched & Crossed, Shatter Me, Divergent, and today I'm starting The Declaration.

These books really get my kids motivated to read and I'm trying to keep current on the "HOT" trends :)

 I saw these 2 pics floating on Facebook today and just HAD to share them with all of you.

Hip Hip Horray!

My sweet friend Katie over at Adventure of A 6th Grade Teacher

hosted a giveaway of her favorite foldable book and I WON IT!!!!!
I am so excited and can't wait to get it!Make sure to stop by her blog! She is an amazing teacher and has some really great ideas.

For Valentine's Day I gave all of my kids {all 6 classes} chocolate, a HW pass, and taught them how to make these cute origami/foldable corner heart bookmark.{I found them on Pinterest}They came out super cute and the kids use them for their DEAR time books, agendas, and workbooks.

We have Monday off for Presidents Day and I cannot express how excited I am for the day off and the chance to catch up a little. 

My poor dog hasn't been to the park in weeks... hopefully he gets to enjoy some outdoors time with me this weekend.

I also hope to get a moment to blog a little too and catch up on my favorite blogs :)
