All good things must come to an end!

All good things must come to an end! That being said, today is the last day of my Spring break :(
I could sooooooooooooo use another week!!!  Only 58 more school days left till Summer Vacation!!!
I had such a long to do list for this break and I accomplish about 20% of it.
My body and mine just wanted a break so I gave it to them!
I spent this break hanging in my jammies reading good {6} books!
I needed to recharge my batteries. I was worn out!
Now i'm rushing to try to make up grad school work that is all do this week and I'm freaking out!!!
Our state test, FCAT is 4 weeks away, and so starting tomorrow we go into test practice mode for the next few weeks. All creative projects are now on hold and will resume after the test.
I'm planing on hosting a game show review for the kids the Friday before testing begins so that's as exciting as it's going to get.

I do have some fabulous ideas coming your way though, not to mention the Intermediate Teaching Expo is coming up next month and I'm super excited about my Interactive Student Notebook presentation.

Here's a little freebie fun for you!

Here is a graphic organizer to help kids build word knowledge and develop their vocabulary.
It is perfect for differentiating instruction.

What's that Word?

Happy Sunday!

  12. Good luck with grad school. I know how that is. Your vocabulary graphic organizer reminded me of some word study boxes I made for a word wall last year. So I posted my word study boxes on my blog. Good luck with everything. I am off to curl up with a book and listen to the rain.
