Greetings from Israel!!
I haven't had a chance to post for the last 2 weeks.
Hubby & I are away visiting with family & friends.
My baby sister got married last week and we had a wonderful time celebrating all of the wedding festivities with her.
Here's are pictures of us 4 siblings on the wedding day & Henna celebration :)
The stunning bride & groom before the big moment
{still hiding from the crowd}
Here's one of me on the Red Carpet {too bad you can't see my pink pumps in this one}
I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate this picture into my Hollywood Theme next year.
Haha, am I the only one constantly thinking about my classroom theme?!?
{even at my own sister's wedding?!?}
I REALLY miss my dog!!!! I absolutely HATE being away from him this long :(
The only thing getting me through this "vacation" is knowing I'm hear for a greater purpose
and hopefully I come home with good news & ready to start a family.
It's been quite difficult to turn the school mode switch off in my head for the past 2 weeks.
I'm proud to say I actually tried {and was mostly successful} relax a bit.
I even finished reading the entire Twilight series!!! And now I'm starting Harry Potter :)
I have to catch up to what my kiddos read....
Last night however, I was dreaming of word wall piece and realized party was over and I'm ready to get back to business!!!!
I'm freaking out just trying to figure out all the things I need to accomplish.
I'm currently working on my to do list!
Some of the things on my list....
Open House
BTS, first week activities
A Common Core Packet
Grammar Mini Lessons
Writing Mini Lessons
I'm also trying to make a few classroom themed posters & goodies
Here are two Pinterest inspired ones I made today
Here's the original pin
Next year I will finally get my own group of kids {and not 6 classes!!}
I really want to make the feel welcomed & special in our classroom.
I guess that's the reason I chose Hollywood for a theme. I want every kid to feel like a STAR!
Here's another great pin I found on Pinterest but unfortunately, I can't manage to find the original post and creator to give them proper credit. If you know whose is it please let me know.
Anyway.... I just LOVE it!!!! Wouldn't you love to walk into a room like that every day?
So I decided to recreate it & offer it to ya'll as a freebie!
