It's time for Valentine's Day!!!
Usually I'd go all out today to celebrate "Friendship" day with my kids...but let's be real...
It's crunch time!!!!! I only have 2 1/2 weeks left with them so all play must be benchmark related.
I created a few quick center games for Math & Literacy using Conversation Hearts
to help review a few of the skills we learned this year.
Fun yet productive!!!!
You can either use the activities by allowing students to rotate the room with the mats laminated for them, or project the activities on the board & let students complete them in pairs at their seats.
Here are some samples of what I included in the pack.
Math skills: counting, estimating, interpreting data, sorting, tallying, graphing, measurement,
Reading: figurative Language, writing, and word work.
This activity pack is is available in my store
I bought each student a pack of conversation hearts (Walgreens $3.50 for a pack of 12 )
so they could use with the activities and eat afterwards.
Here are pictures of the kids going through the stations :)
They LOVED it!!!
AND....I do have lots of yummy treats for them to enjoy after they complete their activities :)
After all it's all about the candy, isn't it?!?
We are also making heart bookmarks :)
I made these last year and they were a HUGE hit!!!
My kids adore them :)
Last but not least.... my Valentine for the kiddos,
